December 28th,2011- the new 2012 Ford chassis awaits the rescue body at Jerome Fire Equipment in Clay New York.  When complete this unit will replace the 2000 Ford Squad 2 located at Station 2.  Thank you to Commissioner Dantuono for providing the updated photo.

 

 

July 6, 2010 -Lakeside Fire District took delivery of a 2010 KME 75' custom aerial ladder truck. Photos of the new truck will be posted soon!!

         

March 23,2009-First production pictures of our new 75' KME aerial. Delivery is schedule for fall of 2010.                             

November 23, 2009

24 volt electric battery powered hand tools have been added to Rescue 5. The tools include a Sawzall, 6.5" circular saw and a band saw.  Check the tools out in the extrication compartment and contact Lt. Palmer with comments or questions.

After reviewing the bids submitted for the new truck, the Board of Fire Commissioners awarded the bid to KME Fire Apparatus of Nesquehoning, PA.  Sales Rep for the Truck is Eric Saulsbury. Stay tune for future updates concerning the status of the new truck.

 

October 27, 2009

Bid open for new truck. Three bids were received and read aloud at Station 1. Bids were received from Pierce, KME and Farrara. The Commissioners will award the bid once all bids have been reviewed.
